Comparison of critical thinking dispositions of gifted students in support education (enrolled with SACs) and formal education

Critical thinking is the ability of individuals to reason against events, facts, situations, and analyze evaluate problem situations. It reveal difference between arguments lines rhetoric while using elements such as reading, writing, speaking listening, which are four basic language skills. The main purpose this research determine critical dispositions primary school students diagnosed with special abilities. In line purpose, relationships students' grade levels, gender, number siblings, education levels parents, whether gifted or not, their express thoughts in family tendencies will be revealed. study, it structured survey model design, one quantitative methods. With model, determined research. addition, variables level, level at home also examined. study group consisted third fourth studying provinces districts Tokat receiving Science Art Centers 55 talents, 187 average talent. Thus, a total 242 took part data were obtained by 'Critical Thinking Tendency Scale for Primary School Students' developed Uluçınar Akar (2021). Consisting 18 items total, scale consists sub-dimensions. Alpha reliability coefficient was found .80. analyzed help SPSS package program. Before starting analysis data, normality analyzes made result analysis, Independent Sample t-Test ANOVA tests used showing normal distribution data. Kruskal Wallis Test applied that not normally distributed. According findings, good level. No statistically significant sub-dimensions scale, well gender status, parental status. A favor Center who talent those continue regular schools. always significantly higher than sometimes thoughts.
